Researching small growers in taranaki
Massey University, alongside a regional initiative Farm Next Door, is working in the Taranaki region to collaborate with a network of local growers and producers through active participatory research.
This project seeks to create transformational change based on knowledge, practice and the power of the Taranaki community. The project connects academic institutions with local and global knowledge of sustainability, agricultural practices, and food systems.
These small-scale growers typically farm sustainably, organically, or regeneratively earning income from their land, and supplying values-based produce for the community of Taranaki.
